Car Parts Courier and Automotive Courier for the Trade
A car on the ramp waiting for a part costs the garage money by the hour and the customer a day without a vehicle. We collect the part from the factor, the dealer or the seller and drive it straight to the workshop in one vehicle, today, with nothing else on board.
From £35 including VAT · Open 24 hours, 365 days a year · Goods-in-transit insured · DBS-checked drivers

Auto Parts Courier: One Vehicle From the Counter to the Ramp
Search for an auto parts courier and most of what comes back is a way to post a bumper: a carrier, a comparison site, a guide to wrapping a bonnet. That is a different job from ours. Ours starts with a vehicle that is off the road and a part that exists somewhere else in the country.
We collect that part from wherever it is, a motor factor's counter, a dealer's parts department, a breaker's yard, a seller's garage, and one driver takes it directly to the workshop that is waiting. No depot, no overnight sort, no "out for delivery" that means some time before six. The driver's name, the collection time and the delivery time are yours before and after the run.
Auto Parts Delivery Service for Workshops
An auto parts delivery service for the trade is about the gap between "picked" and "fitted". The factor's own van round comes tomorrow morning; the dealer's branch across town has the part now. We close that gap with a dedicated run, priced by the mile, booked by phone in a minute, and confirmed with proof of delivery when the part reaches the bench.
Vehicle Parts Courier for Vans, Trucks and Fleets
A vehicle parts courier job is often not a car at all: a van part for a fleet that has a delivery round stopped, a truck component to a depot, a hire vehicle waiting on a sensor. The same rules apply. One vehicle sized to the part, straight from where it is to where the mechanic is, and the vehicle earning again the same day.
Courier for Automotive Parts: Who We Work For
A courier for automotive parts earns its keep with five kinds of customer, and the job is slightly different for each.
- Garages and MOT centres: the part that gets a car off the ramp today, collected from the factor or dealer and brought straight to the workshop.
- Dealerships and bodyshops: panels, lights and trim between the parts department and the bodyshop, or from one dealer to another when the part is in stock across town.
- Motor factors and parts distributors: the urgent order that cannot wait for tomorrow's van round, collected as soon as it is picked and driven straight to the trade customer.
- Breakers and used-parts sellers: a sold part collected from the yard and delivered to the buyer or their garage, with proof of delivery.
- Fleet operators and hire companies: a part to the depot or to a stranded vehicle, so the van or truck is earning again.
Automotive Supplies Delivery on a Schedule
Workshops that use us more than once a week usually move to a scheduled automotive supplies delivery: a run at the same time each day between the factor and the branch, or a weekly stock collection when the shelves run low, on one monthly invoice. The same driver as often as the rota allows, and the same published rate as a one-off job. How business runs and invoicing work →
Car Parts Delivery Courier: What Happens When You Book
Give us the collection point, the delivery address, the part and the time the car is booked back in. We confirm the vehicle and a collection time, the driver collects against your order number, and the workshop gets a call when the part is ten minutes away. If the time cannot be met, we tell you before you book, not after the customer has been promised their car.
Vehicle Off Road: Why the Hour Matters
A vehicle off road is a ramp that cannot take the next job, a customer who needs a courtesy car, and a technician standing still. Every hour a part spends in a network's depot is an hour of that. A dedicated run turns a two-day wait into the time it takes to drive from the factor to the workshop, which inside London is usually under an hour of driving and across the country is the length of the motorway. That is the whole case for paying a courier instead of a carrier, and it is why garages that have used us once tend to book the same way next time. What VOR means and what it costs →
What We Carry, and in Which Vehicle
The part decides the vehicle. These are our maximum loads, as the operator uses them when pricing a job; tell us the part and we match it.
| Vehicle | Typical parts |
|---|---|
| Car (up to 600 kg) | Brake discs and pads, alternators, starter motors, sensors, ECUs, lights, mirrors, filters, boxed service parts |
| Small van (up to 900 kg) | Bumpers, bonnets, doors and wings, radiators, exhaust systems, sets of wheels and tyres, seats |
| SWB / LWB van (1,000 / 1,500 kg) | Windscreens on a stillage, full body kits, axles, bulk orders of parts for a workshop, several wheels and tyres |
| Luton or 7.5-tonne lorry | Palletised parts and bulk stock between factor, warehouse and branch; booked ahead and arranged through our hire partners for the lorry |
Engines and gearboxes are carried: see below for how loading works. We own our Luton van and arrange 7.5-tonne lorries through hire partners, so both need booking ahead.
Engine Courier
An engine courier job with us works one way: we bring the vehicle, you bring the lift. At the collection point the engine is lifted into the van or lorry with your own crane, chain block or gantry, sat on your own pallet or engine stand, and secured with your own load-rated chains, slings or ratchet straps; at the delivery end the receiving workshop does the same in reverse. The driver's job is the journey, direct and the same day, with the engine the only thing on board. The oil and every other fluid must be drained before collection; that is your side of the job, done before the driver arrives. Tell us the weight and whether it is on a pallet or a stand when you book.
Gearbox Courier
A gearbox courier run follows the same rules as an engine: drained of oil before collection, a van sized to the weight, your transmission jack or crane to load it, your straps to hold it, and one driver taking it straight from the rebuilder or breaker to the workshop that has the vehicle in the air. For a gearbox going to a specialist for rebuild and coming back, we can book the return leg at the same time so the car is not waiting on a second phone call.
Large Car Parts Courier
Bumpers, bonnets, doors, tailgates and wings are the parts the parcel networks refuse or damage. A large car parts courier job goes in a van with the panel wrapped and strapped flat, and a second person is booked in advance where one cannot lift it safely.
Car Parts Courier Service for Regular Trade Runs
A car parts courier service for a dealer group or a factor chain is a set of runs, not a job: between branches, to bodyshops, to trade customers. We set them up once, with the addresses, the contacts and the timings on file, and invoice them monthly.
Car Parts Courier UK: Any Mainland Address Today
From our London base a car parts courier UK run reaches any mainland workshop the same day: a part from a London dealer to a garage in Birmingham, a panel from a Midlands bodyshop to a London customer, a component from a factor in the South East to a fleet depot in the North. One driver, no depot, the motorway and nothing else.

Car Parts Courier Prices: Priced by the Mile, Not by the Panic
The rate for a car or small van is £35 including VAT for the first 10 miles and £1.30 a mile after that, the same at midnight as at midday and the same on account as for a one-off. A larger van or a second person is priced on top by the operator when you book, and you have the full figure before anything is confirmed.
Our rate
Prices include VAT and are based on one-way mileage (collection to delivery). This is our entry rate for a car or small van — larger vehicles are priced higher, and we'll always confirm your exact price before you commit.

When a Parts Carrier Is the Better Choice
If you are a private seller with a bumper that has sold online and nobody is waiting for it, a specialist parts carrier or a parcel network will move it for a fraction of our price, and we would rather say so than take the job. We are for the part that is needed today, that is too large, heavy or fragile for a parcel, or that is going to a workshop with a vehicle on the ramp.
Send Car Parts Courier: Three Questions Before You Book Anyone
Before you send car parts with any courier, including us, know three things: is someone waiting for it today, would it survive a parcel network's sorting belt, and does it fit a parcel at all. Three noes and a carrier is right. Any yes, and you need one vehicle, one driver and a hand-over at the bench, which is what this page is about. Large and heavy items in a dedicated van →
Fantastic service - absolutely saved the day and will 100% use again!
Excellent service. Request made 24 hours before the required collection and delivery, fully kept up to date, on time and updated throughout the collection and delivery. Thoroughly recommend.
Arrived early, delivered early. Confirmed delivery immediately on sensitive drop. They answer the phone, and are a million lightyears better than their competitors at everything that they do. Hard to fault anything.
So impressed with Red Eagle. They have been fantastic at communicating promptly and after years of using various unreliable couriers, it’s so refreshing to find one that’s so great at customer service, and pricing!
Excellent service – highly recommended!

We used Red Eagle Logistic Ltd to collect and transport a large donation of mobility equipment for Restart Mobility CIC. The service was excellent from start to finish.
Communication was very good, the collection and delivery were handled professionally, and everything arrived safely.
As a small organisation supporting people with disabilities, finding a reliable transport company is extremely important to us. We are very grateful for their service and hope to work with Red Eagle Logistic again for future collections.
Thank you from everyone at Restart Mobility CIC. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’m honestly so happy with the service I received from Red Eagle Logistics. I was a little worried at first because I’d never arranged this type of delivery before, especially as the medication was expensive and very sensitive to temperature.

I contacted them at very short notice to transport my vaccines from Croydon to Peterborough, and within about an hour of my enquiry everything was arranged and collected.
The gentleman who collected and delivered them was fantastic. He kept in communication with me throughout the journey and even took pictures at both collection and delivery, which really reassured me that everything was being handled properly.
My medication arrived safely, communication was excellent from start to finish, and their price was also much more reasonable than other quotes I received.
Very prompt, reliable and professional service. I’m genuinely happy I found them and will definitely use them again in the future. I would absolutely recommend Red Eagle Logistics. Thank you! 🙏🏽
Red eagle delivered my parcels with professional standards and on time. Would 100% recommend!

Car Parts Courier FAQs
How fast can you deliver car parts?+
The same day, by one driver who collects from the factor, dealer or seller and drives straight to the workshop with nothing else on board. You get a collection time when you book; a cross-London run is an hour or two on the road, a long run takes as long as the motorway takes. Tell us when the car is booked back in and we work backwards from that.
What car parts will you carry?+
Anything that fits the vehicle and is safe to carry: service parts, brake and suspension components, electrical parts, lights, mirrors, glass on a stillage, bumpers, bonnets, doors and wings, wheels and tyres, exhausts, seats and trim, bulk orders of stock. Up to 600 kg in a car, 900 kg in a small van, 1,500 kg in a long-wheelbase van and 3,000 kg in a 7.5-tonne lorry. Engines and gearboxes are carried too: you load and unload with your own lifting equipment, strapped to your own pallet or stand, and the driver drives.
Do you carry engines and gearboxes?+
Yes, in a van or lorry sized to the weight. The customer loads and unloads at both ends using their own equipment: an engine crane or chain block, slings or chains with load-rated fittings, an engine stand or a pallet to sit it on, and ratchet straps to secure it. Our driver provides the vehicle and the journey, not the lift. The oil and all other fluids must be drained before we collect.
Do you work with garages and dealers on account?+
Yes. You pay per job and receive one itemised invoice a month; businesses that want credit terms can arrange them with our operator. The rate is the same published rate whether the job is on account or booked once.
Is a parts carrier cheaper than you?+
For a bumper or a bonnet a private seller is posting and nobody is waiting for, yes, and you should use one. We are for the part that is needed today, is too awkward or heavy for a parcel, or is going to a workshop that has a vehicle on the ramp.
Can you collect from a motor factor or a dealer parts counter?+
Yes, and that is most of our automotive work. Give us the branch, the order or invoice number and the name the counter will release it to, and the driver collects it as soon as it is picked and brings it straight to you.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?+
Yes. Our base is in Colindale, NW9, and our drivers run from London to any UK mainland address, same day, as well as between garages, dealers and factors inside London.
Are the parts insured in transit?+
Yes, under our goods-in-transit insurance. Tell us the value when you book so the cover matches the part, and make sure panels are wrapped and glass is on a stillage.
Got a vehicle off the road waiting for a part?
