Pallet Courier: Same Day Pallet Delivery by Dedicated Vehicle
A pallet network is the right answer for a pallet that can wait and sit at the kerb. We are the answer for the other kind: the pallet a production line is waiting for, the part-load that cannot be split, the over-height pallet the network refused. One van or lorry, your pallets only, loading bay to loading bay, today.

Two postcodes for a price. Put the number of pallets, the weight and whether each site has a forklift in the notes.
Same Day Pallet Delivery: One Vehicle, Loading Bay to Loading Bay
A network moves a pallet through a hub overnight and delivers it to the kerb tomorrow or the day after. Same day pallet delivery with us means the vehicle that collects your pallet is the vehicle that delivers it, with nothing else on board, and it goes today.
The driver loads at your site, straps the pallet, drives direct and unloads at the delivery address, inside the gate and at the bay rather than on the pavement. You get the driver's name, the vehicle, a collection time before you book and the delivery time the moment it is signed for.
Urgent Pallet Delivery
An urgent pallet delivery starts with the deadline, not the collection: tell us when the pallet has to be on the receiving site's floor and we work back from it, confirm the vehicle and tell you straight away whether the time can be met. Once it is loaded, nothing else is collected on the way.
Same Day Pallet Courier Across the UK
As a same day pallet courier we run from London to any mainland address: a pallet of parts to a factory in the Midlands, stock to a distribution site in the North, exhibition kit to a venue on the coast. We are a pallet courier UK businesses use when the network's timetable is the problem, not the price.
What We Can Carry: Pallets by Vehicle
These are our maximum loads by vehicle, as the operator uses them when pricing a pallet job. A fully loaded standard pallet is commonly up to about 1,000 kg, which is why one pallet usually means a long-wheelbase van and several means the lorry.
| Vehicle | Maximum load | Pallets, by weight | Loading |
|---|---|---|---|
| SWB van | 1,000 kg | A half or quarter pallet, or loose cartons that would otherwise be palletised | Hand-loaded; needs a flat approach at both ends |
| LWB van | 1,500 kg | One fully loaded standard pallet, or two to three lighter ones | Hand-loaded or forklift-loaded through the rear doors |
| Luton van, tail lift | 600–1,000 kg | Pallets at sites with no forklift and no loading bay | Tail lift lowers the pallet to the ground at either end |
| Luton van, curtainside (no tail lift) | 1,000–1,300 kg | Side-loaded pallets at sites with a forklift | Forklift loads through the curtain |
| 7.5-tonne lorry, tail lift or curtainside | 3,000 kg | Several pallets by weight; the vehicle for a part-load that cannot be split | Arranged through our hire partners, so book ahead |
Maximum payloads for the vehicle. We own our Luton van and arrange 7.5-tonne lorries through hire partners, so both need booking ahead.
Oversized Pallet Delivery
Networks refuse pallets over a set height and weight because they have to fit a standard cage and a standard slot. A dedicated vehicle has neither, so an oversized pallet delivery is simply a question of whether the pallet fits through the vehicle's doors and under its roof. Tell us the length, width, height and weight when you book, we match the vehicle, and if it genuinely will not fit we say so rather than send something too small and find out at your gate.
Pallet Collection and Delivery: What the Driver Needs to Know
A pallet collection and delivery goes smoothly when four things are known before the vehicle leaves. We ask for them when you book so the driver is not finding them out at the barrier.
- Does each site have a forklift or a loading bay? If yes at both ends, a long-wheelbase van or a curtainside is the cheapest vehicle. If no at either end, we send the Luton with a tail lift so the pallet reaches the ground without anyone lifting it, and the driver can bring a pallet truck to move it from the tail lift to the door if you book that in advance.
- Weight and height of the loaded pallet. The weight picks the vehicle from the table above; the height decides whether it goes in a van or needs the lorry. Over-height pallets that a network would refuse are exactly what the dedicated vehicle is for, as long as they fit through the doors.
- The reference and the name at each end. Trading estates and distribution sites run on booking slots and gatehouses. Give us the reference the gate will ask for and the person who will have the pallet ready, and the driver arrives with both.
- Is it one pallet or several? Several pallets going to one address travel together on one vehicle; several pallets going to several addresses are a multi-drop run, planned in the order your deadlines need.

Pallet delivery prices
Pallet Delivery Cost: The Rate, Then the Vehicle
A network quotes by pallet size and leaves the vehicle to them. We do it the other way round: the published rate, £35 including VAT for the first 10 miles and £1.30 a mile after that, is for a car or small van, and the long-wheelbase van, the Luton or the 7.5-tonne lorry a pallet actually needs is priced on top by the operator when you book. You have the full figure before anything is confirmed, and nothing is added afterwards.
Our rate
Prices include VAT and are based on one-way mileage (collection to delivery). This is our entry rate for a car or small van — larger vehicles are priced higher, and we'll always confirm your exact price before you commit.
What that works out at
| From our Colindale (NW9) base to… (car / small van rate) | About | From |
|---|---|---|
| Watford | 10 miles | £35 |
| Heathrow | 14 miles | £40.20 |

Pallet Delivery London
Our base is in Colindale, NW9, so a pallet delivery London job starts with a vehicle already inside the North Circular: a pallet from a Park Royal supplier to a shop in the West End, stock between two warehouses on the A406, exhibition goods to a venue in the Docklands. Inside London we can usually collect quickly; a tail-lift Luton or a lorry still needs booking ahead.
Pallet Delivery: When a Pallet Network Is the Cheaper Choice
If you have one standard pallet, it is not urgent, and it can be left at the kerb on a flat surface, book it with a pallet network. It will cost a fraction of a dedicated vehicle and it will probably arrive on time. We would rather tell you that than take a job that does not need us. A dedicated pallet delivery earns its price when the pallet has to be there today, is over the network's limits, cannot be left outside, is worth more than the network will cover, or is one of several that must travel together.
Send a Pallet: Network or Courier?
Before you send a pallet with anyone, including us, know its weight, its height and the latest it can arrive. Under about 1,000 kg, under the network's height limit and fine for tomorrow or the day after: use a network. Any of those a no: you need a vehicle that carries only your pallet and a driver who hands it over at the bay, which is what this page is about. How pallet delivery works →
Next Day Pallet Delivery
When tomorrow is soon enough, a next day pallet delivery is collected today and delivered tomorrow by one driver, usually for less than same day because it is planned into the next day's runs. For a pallet that must be on the floor before a site opens, the overnight option collects in the evening and drives through the night. Our next day and overnight courier →
Fantastic service - absolutely saved the day and will 100% use again!
Excellent service. Request made 24 hours before the required collection and delivery, fully kept up to date, on time and updated throughout the collection and delivery. Thoroughly recommend.
Arrived early, delivered early. Confirmed delivery immediately on sensitive drop. They answer the phone, and are a million lightyears better than their competitors at everything that they do. Hard to fault anything.
So impressed with Red Eagle. They have been fantastic at communicating promptly and after years of using various unreliable couriers, it’s so refreshing to find one that’s so great at customer service, and pricing!

We used Red Eagle Logistic Ltd to collect and transport a large donation of mobility equipment for Restart Mobility CIC. The service was excellent from start to finish.
Communication was very good, the collection and delivery were handled professionally, and everything arrived safely.
As a small organisation supporting people with disabilities, finding a reliable transport company is extremely important to us. We are very grateful for their service and hope to work with Red Eagle Logistic again for future collections.
Thank you from everyone at Restart Mobility CIC. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’m honestly so happy with the service I received from Red Eagle Logistics. I was a little worried at first because I’d never arranged this type of delivery before, especially as the medication was expensive and very sensitive to temperature.

I contacted them at very short notice to transport my vaccines from Croydon to Peterborough, and within about an hour of my enquiry everything was arranged and collected.
The gentleman who collected and delivered them was fantastic. He kept in communication with me throughout the journey and even took pictures at both collection and delivery, which really reassured me that everything was being handled properly.
My medication arrived safely, communication was excellent from start to finish, and their price was also much more reasonable than other quotes I received.
Very prompt, reliable and professional service. I’m genuinely happy I found them and will definitely use them again in the future. I would absolutely recommend Red Eagle Logistics. Thank you! 🙏🏽
Red eagle delivered my parcels with professional standards and on time. Would 100% recommend!

Pallet Courier FAQs
Do you deliver pallets the same day?+
Yes. A dedicated vehicle collects the pallet from your site and drives it straight to the delivery address, the same day, with no hub in between. Vans are usually available quickly; a tail-lift Luton or a 7.5-tonne lorry has to be booked ahead, so ring as early as you can and we tell you honestly what is possible.
How many pallets can you take?+
By weight: up to 1,000 kg in a short-wheelbase van, 1,500 kg in a long-wheelbase van and 3,000 kg in a 7.5-tonne lorry, which we arrange through our hire partners. A fully loaded standard pallet is commonly up to about 1,000 kg, so the lorry takes several. Tell us the number of pallets, their weight and height and we confirm the vehicle.
What if there is no forklift at the collection or delivery address?+
Tell us when you book and we send the Luton with a tail lift, which lowers the pallet to ground level at either end. If the pallet then has to move across a yard or into a unit, the driver can bring a pallet truck, but it must be booked in advance; it is not on every vehicle as standard. Where both sites have a forklift or a loading bay, a van or a curtainside is cheaper.
How much does pallet delivery cost?+
The published rate, £35 including VAT for the first 10 miles and £1.30 a mile after that, is for a car or small van. A long-wheelbase van, a Luton or a 7.5-tonne lorry is priced on top by the operator when you book, and you have the full figure before anything is confirmed.
Is a pallet network cheaper?+
For one standard pallet that is not urgent and can be left at the kerb, yes, usually by a long way, and we will tell you so. A dedicated vehicle earns its price when the pallet has to be there today, is over the network's height or weight limits, cannot be left outside, or is part of a load that must not be split.
Do you do next day pallet delivery?+
Yes. The pallet is collected today and delivered tomorrow by one driver, usually for less than a same day run because it can be planned into the next day's work. For a delivery before a site opens, the overnight option collects in the evening and drives through the night.
Is the pallet insured in transit?+
Yes, under our goods-in-transit insurance. Tell us the value of the consignment when you book so the cover matches it, and make sure the pallet is wrapped and strapped so it travels as one unit.
Do you deliver pallets in London?+
Yes, from our base in Colindale, NW9, to every London borough and out to the trading estates around the M25, as well as from London to anywhere on the UK mainland.
